Final FRCA Course

This course is run on a biweekly, day release basis on alternate Tuesdays from September to March.

The course is tailored to trainees intending to sit the MCQ/SAQ paper in March and the SOE(Vivas) in June.

The majority of the course is delivered using traditional lecture format, however an increasing emphasis on Symposia covering the Key Units of Training have been introduced which allows increased interactivity and dicussion with the asembled experts in a particular field.

Similar to the Primary Course, some days include an SAQ session which is run by senior trainees, which has proved to be very popular.

There is a mock written exam day prior to the March MCQ/SAQ

Course Organiser: Dr Keith Fordy, Sunderland Royal Hospital
