SPECIALTY TRAINING COMMITTEE (STC)

 

 

The Specialty Training Committee (STC) is a sub-committee of the School of Surgery Board who meet a minimum of 3 times per year.  The purpose of the committee is:

  • To advise and support HEE NE in implementing postgraduate medicial education relevant to their Specialty
  • To collaborate with HEE NE in the local administration and delivery of specialist training (ie SpR programmes, recruitment and selection) within the regulations and guideines of their College or Faculty)
  • To deliver, through an appropriate panel, the Annual Reviews of Competence Progression (ARCPs).
