ACCS Specialty Training Group

 

The ACCS Specialty Training Group is a sub-committee of the School Board / Executive.  The group meets four times per year in March, July, September and December.  The purpose of the group is:

  • To implement actions that arise from School visits
  • To discuss any training issues that arise with specific trainees, Trusts and units
  • To discuss the development of processes and Quality Management with a view to presenting recommendations to the School Board
  • To ensure that high standards of postgraduate education and training are in place throughout Health Education England – North East & Cumbria
  • To ensure that the ACCS programme is engaged in processes of continual improvement, encompassing educational processes, opportunities, courses and faculty development.
