ARCP

 

The Annual Review of Competence Progression (ARCP) reviews evidence of training progression against curriculum milestones.  All trainees need to register on the ISCP website to access the portfolio. Once access has been gained, trainees will then use ISCP to create global objectives and learning agreements, to coordinate assessments and collect evidence .  Please contact the help desk for queries relating to the ISCP website. 

  • ST1, ST2 and ST3 trainees are required to have an interim review after six months followed by an annual review. The interim reviews are usually held in January each year.  The annual reviews take place in June/July each year and you will be notified of the date and documentation required at least six weeks in advance of the review.
  • ST4 trainees and above will only have an annual review generally held in June each year and will be notified of the date and documentation required at least six weeks in advance of the review.
  • The Joint Committee on Surgical Training provide guidelines for the award of a CCT in Neurosurgey.  This Guidance should be read in preparartion for penulitimate Year ARCPs.
