Cardiothoracic Surgery rotations

 

Health Education England working across the north east boasts a strong six year Cardiothoracic Training Programme which is split between two sites; Freeman Hospital, Newcastle and James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough.

Freeman Hospital and James Cook University Hospital are committed to well structured and educationally sound training.

Training activity at both sites include Cardiothoracic, Thoracic and Paediatric cases with excellent opportunity to experience cardiac transplantation and mechanical cardiac support.
