Regional Teaching Days

Acute Medicine SpR/StR Training Programme

Regional training for speciality doctors in training covering Acute Medicine curriculum over 4 year rolling programme.  Designed to tie-in with GIM and Northern Acute Forum half days to provide 9 full days training per year.

The training programme is organised by the AIM trainee representatives and include:

  • 6x GIM half day
  • 3x Northern Acute Forum half day
  • 9x Acute Medicine SpR/StR training programme half day
  • Acute Medicine RCP day at Freeman Hospital (April)

Plus one relevant international / national conference per year.

Doctors in training must have 70% attendance annually to satisfy ARCP requirements.

Dates are arranged and circulated by AIM trainee representatives.
