Special Skills Information

All doctors training in Acute Internal Medicine must develop a specialist skill. These generally fall into one of four categories:

  • Procedural skill (eg: echocardiography)
  • Additional Qualification (eg: medical education)
  • Specialty Interest (eg: intensive care medicine)
  • Research

Trainees wishing to apply for a skill which is not on the list should contact Dr Nadia Stock (TPD) who will raise this with the AIM Specialty Advisory Committee (SAC).
