BBT is a two year core training programme to provide junior doctors with experiene of a wide range of specialties.  Trainees rotate through four specialties over a two year period (Paediatrics, Psychiatry, GP and CMT), further information can be found in the BMJ

Unfortunately recruitment to BBT has ceased and after the current cohort of trainees exit the programme in August 2017 there will be no more BBT in England.  A statement in this regard can be found on the website of H.E.E north west
