Health Education England in the North East and north Cumbria are holding a Quality and Patient Safety conference. The purpose of the conference is to share innovations across the themes of the HEE Quality Framework and patient safety, discuss health inequalities, medication safety and learning from bad outcomes.
Confirmed speakers include Sir Liam Donaldson, Chair of NENC ICS and WHO Envoy for Patient Safety and Professor Clare Bambra, Professor of Public Health at Newcastle University.
The event will bring together a multidisciplinary audience of healthcare professions from trusts and higher educational institutions throughout the North East and north Cumbria. There will be an opportunity to network and share innovations.
To recognise and celebrate the great work going on in the region there will be an opportunity to share best practice with colleagues. We will be inviting Trusts and Primary Care Hubs to showcase quality and patient safety initiatives and innovations using posters throughout the venue.
More information about the conference and how to register will be shared in early 2022.
Please feel free to circulate to colleagues within your network.
