Training Post Approval Process

The School’s training post approval process has been in place in its current form for some years. It was last reviewed in 2012. Historically the process was defined by the RCPsych, facilitated by RCPsych paperwork. When the process was devolved from Colleges to Deaneries/HEE local offices, our School retained core elements of the process as the process was viewed as robust and effective in ensuring high quality training posts.  Now, in 2019 with the need to align posts to curriculum ILO’s the school has therefore reviewed and updated the process. Full details are provided in the Training Post Approval document. Application forms can be found here.
