Specialty Training Committee

 

The function of the Specialty Training Committee (STC) is to:

  • Advise and support HEE NE in implementing Postgraduate Medical Education relevant to the Specialty
  • Collaborate with HEE NE in the local administration and delivery of specialist training within the regulations and guidelines of the Faculty of Public Health and GMC
  • Deliver through an appropriate panel the Annual Review of Competency Progressions (ARCP's)

The membership is drawn principally from the specialty, including Faculty and specialist advisors, representatives of SACs or the equivalent, Programme Directors and a Dean or Director (with HEE NE administrative support).
