Thinking of Returning to General Pracitce?
The Return to Practice programme has been updated and relaunched - with the aim of making the process for GPs wishing to return to mainstream UK General Practice as smooth as possible.
This scheme is offered primarily to support UK and EU GPs who wish to work/return to work in UK General Practice. The RtP Scheme offers up to six months full-time (or equivalent part-time) of reorientation and training back into current UK practice.
All RtP Doctors are placed in experienced training practices with an accredited GP Trainer. We have been able to support many experienced GPs back into practice at a time when workforce numbers are falling in real terms.
