GP educators conference

We have made the decision to indefinitely postpone the 2026 GP educators conference due to the integration of NHS England into the DHSC.

We have arranged an interim alternative and are delighted to introduce a new virtual learning series for GP educators across the School of Primary Care NENC named 'Lunchtime Learn and Link series'.

We have had a few requests around the recording of the lunchtime learn and link sessions and/or whether we will be running repeats of these sessions. It is important to stress that these sessions are not there to replace the educators' conference like-for-like. So, unfortunately, we cannot offer the choice of access; range of topics; or even the type of engagement and support that the conference was designed to offer.

These sessions, therefore, constitute a very different offering: they are all run by in-house speakers on the days when the training programmes are all at work (such as Wednesdays).

We recognise that this arrangement will not suit everyone and we are very sorry for that.

Due to limited capacity, we cannot offer a repeat or multiple options. We are looking into the possibility of recording and sharing a link - and the logistics of doing that along with IT restrictions/governance are something we are just trying to work through with our very small admin team, and we cannot confirm that we will be able to do so yet. If we can, we will notify trainers.
