The Clinical Skills Unit is equipped with 14 phantom heads, anaesthesia jaws and suture pads to support practical training.
The anaesthesia jaw allows trainees to practice administering local anaesthesia. When the tissues have been injected correctly, an audible alert will give learners instant feedback.
The suture pad simulates real skin, allowing the trainee to practice and refine their suturing skills.
Dress code
We operate a strict clinical dress code policy for all courses run in the Clinical Skills Unit.
