Health Education North East is scoping a project to establish a Lead Employer Trust (LET) arrangement for FDs and GPTs to commence September 2020.

A LET would provide a single, consistent and continuous point of contact for all HR, payroll and occupational health issues, with fair and equitable policies for Foundation Dentists across all employers. There would be reduced administrative work for you, NHS England Area Teams and HEE, leaving more time to spend on education and training matters. Dental Foundation training in the north east and north Cumbria would hopefully be more attractive as a LET arrangement is ultimately a more effective and efficient way to employ Foundation Dentists during their training programmes.
