Advanced Dental Nurse Skills
Our Advanced Dental Nurse Skills (ADNS) programme gives dental nurses the opportunity to develop new skills in line with the GDC scope of practice.
The programme consists of a one-day core course covering core subjects which on completion will enable the dental nurse to progress to one practical skills module.
The practical skills modules include Clinical Photography, Fluoride Varnish application, Cannulation and Impression taking (only one module can be booked).
You will be required to book onto the core course, if not attended within the last 24 months.

Location: Bourne House Dental Training Facility
📌 Eligibility Criteria
For acceptance onto this programme, you will also be required to provide the following documentation:
- GDC number, appropriate indemnity, and a valid CPR certificate
- Complete and return an educational agreement, contact sheet and a letter of support from your dentist in respect of the module you choose.
