Virtual Oral Health Training

Training for pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, medicine counter assistants and all front-line staff.

The aim of our training is to:

Explain the impact of oral health on general health
Give an overview on NICE guidelines oral health for older people in care homes
Offer advice about pain relief, teething, dry mouth and other oral conditions
Discuss the importance of fluoride toothpaste and supervised brushing
Share the importance of sugar free medication
Highlight the importance of regular dental check ups in accordance with NICE guidlines
1 hour training session delivered via MS Teams
