Pilot Oral Surgery Specialty Training Provider in Primary Dental Care

An opportunity has arisen for a NHS primary dental care Provider to contribute to oral surgery specialty training for NHS England, North-East & North-Cumbria. This opportunity is open to a Tier 2 accredited dental practice.
The pilot will last for a fixed-term period of 12 months for 1 day per week. The Provider would be responsible for clinical supervision of a Specialty Trainee providing patient care at Tier 2 level within their dental practice. Specialty trainees will rotate through this post across the year in 6-month blocks.
The Specialty Trainee will be directly employed by the Lead Employer Trust. NHS England, North-East (The Deanery) will assist the Trainee in securing the indemnity cover for the trainee’s 2 sessions in Practice.
