Current Dental Core Trainees have the option of using a paper portfolio or an ePortfilio system (or both).

The ePortfilio system is hosted by Turas. Trainees will have been sent login details by email. If you are unable to find your username and password please contact  Vikki Maxfield by email or telephone 0191 275 4752. ePortfolio offers a range of assesments including:

• CBDs
• Reflective Practice
• Multisource Feedback (MSF)
• Dental Evaluation of Performance (DEP)

Within the ePortfolio there is also a personal library section where documents can be uploaded. Whether using the paper portfolio or the ePortfolio, the evidence you have provided will be reviewed by the Review of Competence Progression (RCP) panel.

A new recruitment process for 2017/18 has been developed. This has seen the introduction of a portfolio review station. Trainees who are interested in applying for 2017/18 are strongly advised to use the ePortfolio.
