About the faculty
The Health Education England (HEE) faculty of advanced practice working across the north east north Cumbria (NENC) integrated care system (ICS) has been fully quorate since September 2019. The NENC faculty of advanced practice forms part of the north east and Yorkshire region as one of the ICSs.
The faculty board includes 30+ stakeholders including representatives from:
- Primary and secondary care employers
- Higher Education Institutes (HEIs)
- Allied Health Professionals
- Director of Nursing
- Human Resource Directors
The function of the faculty is to provide funding, advice, educational support and training to stakeholders supporting the development of advanced clinical practitioners (ACPs), physician associates (PAs) and aneasthesia associates (AAs) within the ICS.
The faculty works closely with the primary care training hub, ICS colleagues, HEE schools and regional faculties.
