The purpose of the Less Than Full Time Forum (LTFT) is to increase the involvement of doctors and dentists who work less than full time during their postgraduate training by encouraging them to take ownership and improve dialogue between themselves and the Postgraduate Dean and contribute to the delivery of relevant NHS England LTFT strategies and local initiatives.
LTFT training can be both complex and challenging for doctors and dentists in training, their trainers, and employers. The forum provides the opportunity for doctors and dentists in training to discuss and raise any concerns or difficulties that they may encounter when working LTFT and is designed to improve LTFT training in the region by resolving these issues together.
