Tees Esk Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust in partnership with Health Education England in the north east held their fifth Delirium Educational Event.
The conference brought together a multidisciplinary audience of healthcare professions from around the North East and North Cumbria.
The theme and purpose of the conference was to increase understanding of how to implement and streamline the delirium ready hospital, intensive care delirium and post-operative delirium.
Mark Hudson as our keynote speaker, shared his experience of how Delirium affected him. The morning session included a masterclass in ICU and Older People Delirium and included a short presentation of key people from Trusts within the Region. The afternoon session included a number of workshops on ICU delirium, Old People Delirium and Post-Operative Delirium.
MELISSA bus was also in attendance showing casing a number of Delirium Educational Resources.
